POSTAGE
All jewellery is posted in our lovely boxes and every amount of care is made to ensure your item is packaged securely and safely. We use Australia Post Registered delivery throughout Australia which will require a signature on receipt. Delivery costs to Australia are a flat $12 fee. Please allow 3-7 days for delivery Australia wide. We will notify you by email or SMS message when your parcel is dispatched with a tracking number for you to track your parcel. Please ensure all your contact details you have provided are correct as we cannot be responsible for incorrectly entered delivery addresses.
International Registered post can take up to 7-14 days, and the cost is a flat $25 fee and a signature on receipt is required.
These delivery times provided by Kate Sandford Jewellery are only estimates. We cannot be held accountable for any late, lost or damage relating to late deliveries
Extra insurance to the value of your goods can be added to the postage in case of loss or damage whilst in transit. Please contact us prior to sending out if you would like to purchase extra insurance.
FAULTY AND DAMAGED GOODS
If an item is deemed to be faulty or damaged on receipt, you can choose between refund, exchange, repair or store credit. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving faulty/damaged goods and explain the reason for the return. This will be assessed and we will contact you with the best solution. Item received must be returned within 14 days, and a refund of the original price and postage will be made.
We cannot be held responsible for damage to your package due to Australia Post careless handling. Please contact us immediately if your item is damaged during transit. Depending on the amount of damage, we may ask you to send the item back for repair. If the item is beyond repair, we will place an insurance claim for the damaged item.
If you request replacement of faulty goods, we will (subject to availability) endeavour to send out the replacement item once we receive returned item. We cannot be held responsible for any lost returned package.
All goods must be sent back in their original packaging to ensure that they are adequately protected whilst in transit.
RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
All our jewellery is handmade specifically to your requirements in our workshop. We take care in making sure all orders sent out are of the highest quality. If you receive a faulty or incorrect order, please notify us within 7 days. We will offer you a replacement; refund or exchange and your original postage costs will be reimbursed.
When ordering rings online, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they have ordered the correct size. A ring ordered in the incorrect size can be re-sized, but this may be subject to change.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind but can offer exchange or store credit valid for one year of date of purchase. This excludes earrings. For this reason, we ask that you choose carefully. All products to be returned must be carefully repackaged in their original packaging and be unmarked and in a saleable condition. We will not exchange goods which have obvious signs of wear or not in their original packaging. Any postage costs associated in this case with exchange will be returned at the customer’s expense.
We are unable to exchange or refund special commissions unless faulty.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@katesandford.com.au

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
